Day 23: Pick n Mix

Today has been a good day, even though it has been on very little sleep. We had a baby,EEG in the park today to talk about the future buggy walks, and buggy boot camp which I'm itching too start to try and tone up and lose a few lbs. before we went to the meeting, we met Sandra at The Swan, and a few other new Mummy's and baby's whom Sandra met through net mums. Then we all went done together, it was a very hot day so during the meet we all had a picnic, and then after the kids all ran around and played together. After an afternoon of playing Anabella and Joe were ready for their naps, so we parted ways and Rosina and I wondered around town until Bella fell asleep.
This afternoon when David got home from work we went to visit our house to be, it was lovely to be invited and to see it again and for the girls to view it, we also met our new neighbours to be, who have children at very similar ages.
Today's picture is of the Pick n Mix Ro and I got while in town, it was half price after all so how could we say no!

Day 22: Holding hands

My days where I have work I always have to rush my blog even more so when David is on the late too. We went for a nice long walk together and started on the park where the girls nicely held hands and walked.
Today's photo is a bit blurry which I will try and fix as it is only the way I am uploading it not the actual photo but it will have to do for now as I'm off to work.

Day 21: Daddy's girls

David had his day off today, which is always a bit of a shame as I work in the evening so we do not get a full day together. Yet I managed to get a lay in so I'm not as drained for work, and we spent a nice day together going to the shop, where we bumped into Millie and Luke and their birthday boy Alfie. then we took our lunch to the park for a picnic.

Today's picture is of David and his girls I got the to stop while playing in the lounge.

Day 19: Little boat

I had a nice relaxing day with the girls today, Rosina had a bit of a tummy ache. So except for a quick trip to tesco we spent most the day playing at home, and made some brownies. When David got home she seemed a bit better, so we took a walk up the canal to the globe. It is a nice walk and having a refreshing cider at the end while the girls played in the park area was worth it. We walked back through knaves hill so we could show the girls where our new house will be, less then 2 months till the move now!
Today's picture is of a cute little boat I saw on the walk up the canal.

Day 18: Best Aunty and Uncle ever!

This morning we had a flying visit from Roxy and Tom, Roxy is off to America tomorrow so is staying at her friends in London tonight. It was lovely to see them if only briefly and they even brought the girls a present each!
Once they had left we went to meet David as he had forgotten his wallet, we stayed with him while he had lunch and then headed up to feed the ducks and heck out the canal festival. It was quite good but very busy and with Anabella in the sling and Rosina walking we all got a bit tired. We headed home to find a Gabby waiting for us, so we spent the evening with her before she headed off to a party an do put the girls to bed.
Today's pictures are the girls with their lovely Aunty and Uncle, the top is a serious pose and the bottom is them all having fun.

Day 17: Ducks and ducklings

Had my Friday morning work today, I always find it hard to get up and get in the work mood at that time as I'm so use to working at night. But it went quite fast as I was on the bar, and afterwards David came and met me for our Friday lunch date.
I spent the afternoon at David's parents with the girls and we found a cute baby frog in the garden. I got home and tidied and played with the ladies before bed. Today has been a bit of a fail as was meant to go out but it didn't happen, although maybe a good thing as I really need a good sleep.
Today's picture is of the ducks and ducklings we saw on the canal by our house.

Day 16: Flowers

Today has been a nice day, lovely weather again so we went and met David at lunch time, sitting on the market cross to eat and the girls played in front of us. Then when David went back to work, we headed to The Swan for a coffee (for me) and ice cream (for the ladies), it's always nice to head in and have a chat with my work lot :). Afterwards we went to my Godmother Mary's house as I have not seen her in ages, the girls played in the garden while we had a lovely catch up. We left to meet David from work, and came home to relax and play silly games before bed. Now Scott, Dave and I are chilling out.
Today's picture is of the flowers I got yesterday as promised.

Day 15: Heidi by the canal

Blogging from Trudy's laptop which isn't great for looking at photographs on or uploading onto my blog so my have to check on mine tomorrow, but as I have work soon I don't have time too check tonight.
Today has been a nice day although I was very tired getting up at 7am after a late finish last night, spent the morning playing with the girls before David picked Rosina up for her last day at pre-school. While I went to town and met Heidi for lunch in the lancer. It was nice to have a catch up as its been a while since I saw her, and to chill out with a friend before work. Sadly couldn't stay late so I walk her to her car at tesco and had a quick photo session by the canal, before going up to school to get Rosina. I got called in the classroom where the class had a lovely bunch of flowers (I may show in a photograph tomorrow) and a card for me to say thank you for helping out in class, and was told I'm welcome to help again next year :).
Todays photograph is of Heidi by the canal :)

Day 14: Rosina got an award

After my very rushed blog yesterday I had to work, I managed to get through my shift although my toe is hurting a lot today. So best take some tables before work again tonight.
Today we had a lazy morning, before Rosina went to school for her party. David, Anabella and I headed to town for a look around the charity shops to see if they had any studio Ghibli films, sadly they didn't. Now I am just in David's parents garden with the girls before I have work.
Today's picture is of the award Rosina got in class today :)

Day 12: Broken toe

Today started off as a good day, had a good sleep after the wedding last night and then had no hangover this morning so I was feeling good. Had a lazy morning with the girls watching films and having a relaxing bath. Before going to meet David in town on his lunch break. We got some stuff to make brownies and  a new pokemon film to say congratulations on Rosina great school report before heading home.
When we got home and I was unpacking the shopping and the bag had spilt so out fell a massive jar of peanut butter on my toe and broke it! It was so painful, but Rosina was very caring and got my phone so I could get Daddy to take me to hospital. The rest of the day hasn't been quite so fun and now I'm just resting a very painful toe and hobbling around.
Today's photo is of my broken toe and the card David drew me.

Today's photo is of my place name and wedding favour.

Day 10: BBQ

So after a long night of children being very awake and then thunder keeping them up even longer I managed to get a good 3 hours sleep before dragging myself up for work. Surprisingly I got to work early and had breakfast their. I did manage to sit on a chair with a puddle in just before starting my shift though, which was very embarrassing. After work David happened to be on his lunch break so We got to have lunch together before he drove me to his Mum's to get the girls and went back to work himself.
Jet lagged children are still awake now but we did get to have a BBQ this evening, which is shown in the picture above.

Day 9: Coffee with Kay and Alessia

Last night the children managed to go to bed slightly earlier, which meant I managed to drag them out of bed earlier this morning, which still feels very wired waking them up rather then the other way round, although I'm sure that will soon change again. This morning was a bit of a rush to get ready and eat before walking up to school but we made it in time. While Rosina was at school I had a few things to get done before it was time for pick up again. This evening The girls and myself went to Spoons to meet Alessia and Kay for coffee, I got the ladies their dinner while we had a nice chat. When we got home there was fun old tidying to be done and now to attempt a more reasonable bed time of 8.30 after they have a nice relaxing bath.
Today's picture is of Kay, Alessia, Rosina and Anabella outside of Spoons in the town centre.

Day 8: Baby taking a shower

So after yesterday's post the jet lag was worse then I thought, I spent most the day feeling awful and half asleep until I had work, as did the girls. Expect for feeling very dazed and tired work went quite quickly and luckily I was mostly on the bar so I didn't have to exert myself too much. At 1.30 in the morning just as we were finishing work and I got a text off David with A picture of two very awake ladies, which was proceed by a phone call off of Rosina who asked me to come home for cuddles and kisses. When I got home we all did some dancing and had a big cuddle before they finally let me get ready for bed and I managed to get everyone to sleep. Poor David only got two and a half hours before he had to be up for work!
Today me and the girls slept in, but decided to still get Rosina up for school to try and get her back in a routine, luckily David took her on his lunch to save me rushing. Now I have to go and pick her up, before I have work again
Today's two pictures are of Bella in the shower this morning, she was having a great time playing in there.

Day 7: Jet lag

So today's post is going to be the other way round to normal, as I am writing it in the morning before I have had my day. The reason is, is that I have a very busy afternoon of stuff the needs sorting out and an appointment to go to, before going back to work at 5. Last night was pretty exhausting due to the children, Bella woke till around 1am and then Rosina and Bella were up at 3am for a long time, now they are both still asleep so I will have to wake them in just a moment.
Today's photograph is of my sleeping very jet lagged ladies.

Day 6: Hello David

So we may have left my Daddy but now we are back to the little ladies Daddy. We have had a long trip back, but it all went very smoothly. The girls were very good on the plane, and we had a lovely flight attendant whom brought us our food first as Rosina told him how hungry she was. I even managed to watch Thor 2 while the girls slept. Today I have not done much, once Maia's Dad dropped us off and we said our goodbyes, we had some lunch and then David took the girls out while I had a sleep. Once they got home we chilled out for a while before giving them a bath and bed. David then treated me to a takeaway. Anabella is now up very jet lagged it would seem, let's hope this isn't a long night.
Today's photograph is of Dvid, happy to see his ladies.

Day 4: last full day in America

Today is our last full day in America :(, we have had the most amazing time and even Rosina doesn't feel ready to go home. But we must get back to everyone in England, and dare I say it work!
Today we spent the morning packing and getting organised so we wouldn't have to worry about it. Then we all headed out and had a good lunch at Ruby's diner with chocolate shakes and burgers! Afterwards we went for one last beach day, where Maia and I had a long swim in the sea, and even Rosina braved swimming deeper then normal (with her life jacket on of course). On the way home, we gather some gifts for our return to our loved ones, and came home to a Thai takeaway. Now just to relax on our last evening.
Today's top photograph is of mine and Rosina's feet in the sea while we were saying goodbye sea.
The second is of our special drink for this evening.

Day 3: Beach times

Today has been another sunny day in California, after a quiet morning we went to town for Lunch from a place called The Habit, which does amazing burgers. Then we headed to Laguna beach, Maia, Anabella and I went off to do a bit of shopping, while Rosina and Dad went to the park on the beach. Maia kindly brought us both a quicksilver hoodie in the crazy sales they have, where they give you a sale price then tell you to take another 75% off! We have found some amazing deals while we have been here and got some lovely pieces. I also managed to get a dress for Samantha's wedding next week :).
We had an afternoon Ice cream break (need to seriously cut down when I'm back), and then headed to the beach. The girls are in love with the beach and the sea, we all go swimming and dig many holes in the sand.
This evening we all headed down to the local town park with Nazanin's sister and her boys whom Rosina loves, they had an outdoor cinema their and we all watched Frozen, we even managed to go get some popcorn from the real cinema next door. Now he girls are in bed and we are relaxing on the 2nd last night here.
Today's photographs are from the beach, the top is of Anabella in the sand, and the second is Rosina jumping in the sea.

Day 2: Disneyland!

Today Maia, Rosina and myself went to Disneyland! Papa and Nana kindly babysat Anabella as we felt she wouldn't't enjoy it much at her age, with all the queuing. We had a lovely day and went on nearly all the rides, as we were lucky enough to go on quite a quiet day. Rosina had an amazing time and said she loved the roller coaster the most, she even braved the haunted house, even if she did just cuddle me and shut her eyes the whole time (which was better then my first time which my parents have a picture of me crying).
Today's photographs include Rosina in her new Disney hat (as we sadly lost her one from last year, and she has been borrowing mine for a year), she is sitting on the dumbo trIn in a monkey cage.
The second picture is of a giant duck we saw, which we were warned on the pirate ship if we fell in the water it would get us!

Day 1: California

For any one who knows me well I have wanted to start a new 365 photography project for a long while, yet I have not felt inspired. But now is the time, no waiting for a special date, the feeling of wanting to photograph the beauty in my life is enough.
So today is Day 1, a beautiful day in America California with my beautiful children Rosina and Anabella, my Father Dana and my best friend Maia. We have been here a week and a half now and had the most amazing time, today has been a simple day of shopping, beach and a lovely evening out to a beautiful Mexican restaurant on Laguna beach, which including a few cocktails. More to be had at home now.
Today I am going to include two photographs as a good start, the top one is from the restaurant, and the bottom is of a baby panda we saw at the zoo yesterday.
